And the press can be corrupt

The press is the fourth power in the state. There are laws that regulate information and information related to the press. On TV or in the print media we can see what others have ordered, with money, to see or read.

Manipulation by the press can also come from our taxpayers’ money. Indirect. Tax money goes to politicians and parties, they use the money to pay for items, which is legal, but manipulate items, which is illegal.

I hope I don’t put the press on my head with this article, but this is the truth. You can buy not only an advertising space but also an entire article in a publication. Which is not cheap at all, but it works.

In this way, the press can be bribed, just as judges, prosecutors, civil servants, etc. can be bribed. In this way, the manipulation in the press is paid for by our taxpayers’ money.

We can make an analogy with a dog that bites the hand that feeds it. And it’s that saying…don’t bite the hand that feeds you. What should we do?

Probably a solution would be to create an institution that would be responsible for checking the legality of trusts, the information they provide, or a media police. An internal mechanism, independent of our money.
