Unfortunately, adverse conditions breed performance in Romania

Larisa Iordache said in an interview that she was training with two tracksuits on. Unfortunately, in Romania this also applies in education or in other situations that require performance.

I remember learning in unheated classrooms. And at home I studied and wrote my homework on the bed where I slept because I wasn’t allowed anywhere else.

It was also where the daily arguments between my family took place. And there was also the television, with a loud volume. This throughout the student period. From class I to class XII – a.

I never complained. Even so, I took the BAC. I could enter any college, but I was not allowed. That didn’t stop me from working. Immediately after finishing high school, I started working. In construction, in the sun, in the cold, in the rain (with a cape), nothing prevented me from working.

And now generations are catching up, some of whom leave their job after two days, two months or a few years of work. Maybe it’s too hot, maybe they’re too cold, maybe the boss is bad, maybe they’re not satisfied with the salary.

In Romania, this is exactly what made us perform, the strange conditions made us fight. Top soccer players, elite tennis players, succeeded by working hard, even though everything was against them.
