AUR organizes protests, not large-scale, admittedly, for the dismissal of the President, as if he is to blame for what is happening to us. For those who do not know the duties of a State President, I hand them the Constitution. Mainly the role of the president is to represent the country, to mediate between the rulers and the citizens, and he is also the commander of the Supreme Defense Council.
The world does not understand that the president is not a tsar, he is not a king, he is not a dictator. We live in a democracy. He is not responsible for our problems. The people are sovereign and manifest this sovereignty through free elections held every few years.
There is also the option that some politicians, including those from AUR, or even Simion, are so stupid that they don’t understand that the President is not responsible for reducing pensions, increasing energy prices, etc. Not. The responsibility belongs, if it belongs to anyone, to Parliament which initiates and passes laws.
Another aspect worth mentioning in this post is the fact that we live in Europe, or AUR is kind of against Europe. We don’t have much to do against the fact that we are in the EU. And it’s not necessarily bad that we are in the EU. Maybe we should even rejoice, and not fear that we will disappear as an identity. No one steals our Romanian language or Romanianness from us. There are laws that regulate these aspects.
