We live in turbulent times and we don’t know what awaits us

I don’t really watch TV or listen to the radio, but every now and then I find the TV on and I don’t really see anything I like. Wars, deaths, accidents, suicides, attacks, etc. Why the hell should I turn on the TV for the news if all I see is this kind of crap? And why the hell should I read the news online if all I hear is crap? Maybe I just get the information that any citizen needs regarding what concerns them, but a lot of crap slips through.

The press is corrupt, politicians are corrupt, everyone is running after money, TikTok fame and power. Fewer are those who remain honorably and dignified with a column. Fewer are those who forgive and do good. Lots of revenge, lots of backstage games. I recommended writing by hand in a post because it supposedly helps with cognitive functions. I haven’t written by hand in a while. Maybe I will, for now I’m typing right now and I’m not editing my post but letting it flow as if I were speaking, as if I were a typist. Live.

The truth is that we are living in turbulent times. They have lived before, haven’t they? Other generations have lived through difficult times. Some have resisted, others haven’t. Some have adapted, others haven’t and died. The important thing is to do everything you can to enjoy the present moment, to think a little about the future and occasionally go to the past. We need everything but most of all the present. Because…tomorrow…who knows…you might not be there anymore, I might not be there anymore, because we are living in turbulent times…
